Historically, the Marigold flower has been used on affected areas as a remedy for pain, sprains and swelling. It is thought to work as a stimulant by temporarily increasing vital processes. The Countrie Farme as early as 1699 mentioned the Marigold as a specific treatment for headache.
Coriander Oil (Coriandrum Sativum)
Coriander Oil is thought to have been first used around 5,000 BC in the Mediterranean area for muscle and joint pain. The Australian Aborigine have used Emu Oil for over forty thousand years. Originally, they used it to relieve minor aches and pains, heal wounds quicker and to protect their skin from the harsh elements of the win and sun. The Aborigines introduced Emu Oil as a natural skin moisturizer and sun-screen to the first Europeans. Since then, Emu Oil has been widely used in the treatment of bruised and subcutaneous tissue, burns and dry skin.
Recently, Emu Oil has been used by modern man and studied by scientists for its anti-inflammatory properties. Though, the American FDA approves Emu Oil only as a moisturizer, more studies are being done on the therapeutic effects of Emu Oil. Among its many amazing properties, the oil has the ability to absorb quickly and deeply into the skin and carry with it oil-based ingredients like certain herbs and Vitamin C ester.
BLUESPRING uses only “Grade A” certified Emu Oil to ensure the oil has not been over-refined and the nutrients that make the oil work so well are kept. The range of Emu Oil in our product is between 4% and 7%, which we have found to be the best balance for making the other ingredients work to their maximum benefit.
Emu oil does not contain any irritating substances making it hypo-allergenic and does not clog any pores, making it non-comedogenic.
The herb Feverfew, original to Europe but is now grown on several continents, has a long history in traditional medicine which includes use as a treatment for what is usually controlled by aspirin. It has historically been used as an effective treatment for migraine headaches, inflammations such as arthritis and for treating insect bites. Clinical tests have shown the use of feverfew may be more effective than other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products (NSAIDS), like aspirin.
German Chamomile Extract

It has recently been used to treat and prevent swelling in patients undergoing chemotherapy

BLUESPRING uses only the purest and most bio-available form of MSM, Opti-MSM®. Each lot is tested for water content, residual DMSO and heavy metals. It is made in a U.S. based single-purpose facility eliminating the potential for cross-contamination and impurities. The range of MSM in Super White Stuff OTC is 10 to 15% - we use this high percentage to insure maximum results.
Stinging Nettle Extract
Nettle was used in medieval Europe as a remedy for joint ailments and muscle aches. Commonly known as a counter irritant, when the plant comes in contact with the skin, the stinging hairs of the plant have irritating chemicals that are released and can cause irritation.
